Resident Evil Survivor is just the ugly duckling of the excellent series of horror games developed by Capcom. Building on gameplay radically different from that of other opus, RE Survivor is as a shooter classic priori, but soon reveals its shortcomings in terms of gameplay. Particularly after the disappointing performance of the PSX episode, we finally not expecting much from this opus 128 bits. Resident Evil Survivor 2: Code Veronica
And although we were not disappointed as this is close as the depths of mediocrity. The game is lost between two styles of gameplay radically different, and fails to make us feel the shivers of dread. In the case of RE Survivor 2, he would also rather shivers of shame. Shame dare display graphics as ugly, shame to impose player gameplay as laborious, and shame to take the fans for fools enjoying the prestigious name of Resident Evil to sell a book dripping with mediocrity.

The soundtrack requires a subject recurring musical epic that does not generate any anxiety, and the dubbing has been forgotten altogether. Result, the characters open their mouths without you never hear the sound of their voices.

In practice, the player evolves like an FPS in a 3D environment, but the controls are aberrant in their total lack of ergonomics. At the pad, the analog stick or the D-pad used to both move and shoot. Result, it is impossible to aim along the vertical axis, and is the game that loads automatically target enemies. The left and right buttons are used for lateral movements, and must therefore go through the buttons to rotate the bracket. The worst is the extreme slowness of movement and rotation, giving the impression of controlling a hero both legs amputated.
